Renovated lounge room

We finally had our lounge room walls done - they were previously a foul apricot wallpaper with apricot trim. We bought some presssed metal panels in art nouveau pattern adn had them installed blow the chair rail in the dining area nad below the picture rail in the lounge area. We are happy with the results (please don't look at the tatty lounge too closely!).

Deborah Bowness wallpaper

I love this wallpaper and am thinking of installing one roll in the family room which I am renovating, I like the books but also the lamps.

Florence Broadhurst wallpaper

I want to redo the family room which is only a quite small space and repaint it white with one wall done in a Florence Broadhurst print - I am tossing up between the egrets in greeny hue or the cranes in soft pink and cream. Anyway I am collecting some photos to help me deicde.

Vintage wallpaper

I bought this vintage wallpaper some time ago and ummed and ahhed about it but finally took the plunge - it is just on the fireplace in the toy/spare room and I really like it.

Renovations - pressed metal panels

We finished painting the new window and our plan is to instal pressed metal tin panels below the picture rail in the lounge and the chair rail in dining room. Here are some photos of the panels we haev selected photos from Inside Out magazine.

Agapanthus

One thing I love about Christmas is the agapanthus - we have these flowering in white and blue all along our front picket fence and we string up blue and silver tinsel and it looks great.

Interior renovation - moving along slowly!

Vulli Family Treehouse

Vulli Family treehouse - How much did I love this toy when I was young. My cousins owned one and I coveted it so much. It was originally made by Kenner and is now updated with sounds and is availble from jacsstore . I have ordered one for myself (oops) I mean the kids for Xmas.
